Unlike most works featuring one or multiple soloists, Festival Sinfonietta provides a bridge between two very different sections of the orchestra, with both a solo oboe and a solo violin. Comprised of four miniature subsections plus two cadenzas, this six to seven minute work is a perfect fit for any musician or audience member.The soloists are encouraged to write their own cadenzas to further personalize the piece, but if needed you can email LaMotte at [email protected] to receive copies of the original cadenzas that he composed.
