First Flight

Here is a marvelous piece for a first performance! It introduces the snare drummer to intermediate techniques, such as meter changes and stick visuals, while containing nothing more rhythmically complicated than syncopated 16th notes. Can be played as duet with the tenor solo of the same name (Pepper catalog number 5944087). Fun stuff!
