First Praise

First Praise is a teaching piece suitable for any worship service or concert. The first 16 measures are full and simple, with no articulations. Using the optional Fine, these excerpted measures will work very well as a first piece for a beginning handchime or handbell group. The theme is then developed with several articulations placed in such a way as to make teaching them very easy. At the same time, there is great opportunity to work on musicality. Techniques used are: echo, shake, mart, LV, swing, thumb damp and mart lift.
