Five Bagatelles

These five brief miniatures for flute and clarinet duo are written in an ultra-concise pointillistic style. They convey a playful and light-hearted character and are well suited for student recitals, friends getting together for sight-reading sessions and amusement. Though these pieces are very brief and sparse in number of notes, they contain a microcosmos of intricate detail and minute subtle gestures that fit together like the tiny gears and springs of a mechanical wristwatch.
