Regardless of the selected instrumentation, it will sound full and complete. Young soloists can improvise using only the notes of the concert Bb mixolydian scale with the provided transposed scale sheet. Any instrument can solo, and the solo section can be repeated as many times as necessary with backgrounds cued as desired.
