Flute and Clarinet - Music of Spain

These arrangements of the wonderful Spanish music are full of the sounds of Spain! The music is for advanced players. Includes songs by Albeniz (Cadiz, Leyenda, Cuba, and Tango) and Granados (Oriental, Andaluza, Aragonesa, and Asturiana). The audio sample is from Granados' Aragonesa. The clarinet duet version was reviewed in the September, 2004 issue of THE CLARINET. Duet playing is one of the great joys of clarinet playing and John Gibson has added another volume of transcriptions of complete pieces to the extensive repertoire he has previously published. The difficulty varies, but most of the pieces are playable by good high school or university students. They also provide great recreational playing for advanced players and could likely be programmed on recitals.
