I composed this piece when I was living in London. I was born in Argentina but I was always traveling the world and when I was in London I felt the need to reconnect with my country, and the way to do it was through music. Tango is part of my life, and since I was a child I love the music of Astor Piazzolla. This string quartet is a little piece that remind the sounds of the tango Piazzolla's tangos.
If you are looking to play something different, and you are looking for a piece that has to be played with passion, without following a traditional way to play, and with a lot of freedom on the interpretation, this is the piece you are looking for. There is a solo violin section, feel free to express that lines with your heart, as you would be traveling to Buenos Aires for 4 minutos.
