Fog

Painting vivid pictures through richly descriptive text, this original work in a lilting 6/8 meter uses the minor mode to create the rolling motion of fog drifting across a landscape. Accessible yet artful, it's a nice nature-themed selection for developing lyricism and phrasing in younger treble choirs in elementary or middle school.
