For Daniel

For violin, cello, and piano.  First Printing.  An expressive work attempted to convey the imagined struggles associated with someone who is facing a long-term lung disease.  Written for the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio in memory of Daniel MacArthur, nephew of the composer.  Premiered by the same trio on March 2, 2004 at the Tucson Winter Festival.  Duration: ca. 17'.  Piano reduction (38 p.) & parts.
