Four in One

As the title suggests, this suite for third year or very good second year bands takes the players through four contrasting moods and styles. A slow lyrical opening moves quickly into a lively dance section where several sections of the band get a "crack" at the main theme. From here the music moves into a slow moving poignant theme beginning with an oboe(or clarinet solo). The fourth and final section is a bright, energetic march which ends on the major version of the tonic chord.
