Four Short Festive Dances

This fun selection allows students the opportunity to learn about different dance styles from various areas of the world. The first dance is a galliard, a form of Renaissance dance, followed by a waltz, which is a dance in triple time. The third is a samba, a Brazilian dance, and the close is a lively hoedown, an American folk dance.
