Dedicated to the Latinx community and their resilience, this original work is a vulnerable conversation about our fears and how we prefer to hide our struggles. Alannah Guevara's strong text talks about the weight of the struggle and exchanging bad fruit for good and fresh fruit for our youth. The a cappella divisi harmonic colors move slowly with modern cluster cadences and effectively placed dissonances.
