From Peace to Chaos is a Solo piano work by Jonathan Norris that touches on the chaotic nature that can be surrounding a gentle figure. The very beginning of this piece brings a harsh nature and uncomfortable feeling to the atmosphere. All the while there are hints of a brighter time trying to break through this chaos. The piece swaps back and forth between a much more dissonant texture and a very consonant harmonic structure, until the peaceful melody and arpeggiated chord structures take over and become the center piece.
