From Russia with Music

This arrangement of Russian folk songs combines the somberness of a dark Russian winter, Song of the Volga Boatmen, with the excitement and vitality of a Russian dance, Meadowland. Each section grows out of an alto saxophone solo and builds to a massive climax. Well-written and exciting, this is perfect for a concert with an international flavor.
