Funiculi, Funicula

Luigi Denza's rollicking tribute to the first cable car line (Funicular) up Mount Vesuvius was written in 1880 but has the insouciant air of an Italian street song. �David Eddleman's elaborate and rambunctious treatment preserves this character and is a fine workout for mixed choirs. �It will make a terrific concert closer!
