Set in 6/8 meter Gabriel's Legion is a fanfare for advanced trumpet choir that can provide an exciting way to start a concert or special event and is a wonderful way to combine a large number of trumpeters such as might be found at a brass or band festival. Written in a symphonic style this brief fanfare is not heavy on finger technique but demands clear articulate playing by all and excellent range by those playing the 1st part (at least a strong high D required with an optional high E and/or G by one player preferred.)
