Games Children Sing - Japan

This collection of authentic songs is a unique resource of activities with connections to the culture, music, social studies, language arts, storytelling, history, dance and nature of Japan.  Each song uses melodies that are easy to learn and fun to sing.  English and Japanese texts and explanatory notes are included with each song.  Active classroom participation is encouraged through games, dances and fingerplays.  A CD recording is included.  Grades K-6.
