THE DAY WIZARD:  The measure of other wizards is he, but seven of them have met and decided to take him down, for he is the limit measure of how foul their folly of wizardry can go.  The Day Wizard carries a staff while the seven dissenting wizards carry wands.  But the top of the staff of the Day Wizard's staff, carries a round ball of brightness that has the coloration of the sun.  While the seven dissenting wizards carry only wands to do their deeds of whatever kind; but on one day within any year as on Halloween Day can they, the seven wizards, as well as any other wizard, go about and do their full extent of will that they choose to exert without having the magical Day Wizard's staff to spontaneously react, in locating them, and then snuff any unreasonable will of theirs out.  On this day though, the seven wizards as a group has sent by way of a messenger an invitation to The Day Wizard to meet them at a particular spot as they have indicated in their invitation that on Halloween Day they plan to pay homage to The Day Wizard at the noon hour.  The Day Wizard accepts the invitation and shows up on Halloween Day, but at noon the seven wizards raise their wands up in the air and turn the daylight into complete darkness while also cloaking themselves into even more darkness.  They approach The Day Wizard and subdue him and take his staff and then break it up into seven pieces, with each of the seven wizards getting a piece of it while the ball of light that is bright fizzles out as well.  The Day Wizard goes back his way and returns to his shadowy dwelling with nothing to show for his leave.  As the days go by, The Day Wizard notices that the fireflies that are normally flickering around are getting increasingly directional for some reason which also is quite intimidating to him.  But The Day Wizard takes heed anyhow, and follows the path that the fireflies have now made.  The path leads The Day Wizard to each of the seven wizards and, once, there the fireflies make a ball of light so bright that none of the visited wizards can get a glimpse of the approaching and encroaching Day Wizard.  The Day Wizard grabs each visited wizard's wand, and finally returns to his shadowy dwelling in the forest.  The Day Wizard then takes the seven wands and fashions a call to his elusive and broken-up staff; the pieces respond, arrives, and appears in their original functioning whole form and state.  The Day Wizard never knew it but his sorceress mother, soon after he was born, had spelled the local brood of fireflies so that no matter what, he would never be completely alone in the shadows; even though he alone was born completely in the shadows.

HEAVY LIGHTS:  Lights and lighted areas on Earth have been around for centuries as it is known.  In a present-day city though, there are numerous lights as in day and in the night and joined throughout smaller-sized inhabited established boundaries as well.  But while future growth might be considered a certainty, so too are lights and lighted areas to significantly increase.  Still, what in the world would an appearance of such a significant increase of lights be like in that expanded appearance?  How far will all of that go or even turn into, could it be the next thing to something that has never been before, an actual monster or just one more headache?  While any conclusive projection, only amounts to an unanswered question it seems as so.

The Witch Side of the Wall:  When brought to the witching side of both good and bad and strictly by the book as well, it is still, nonetheless, the dark-side; but when neither will do, toward a set goal, is to then author up a solution oneself; yet, that existence is also a member of the dark-side.  But authoring oneself out of it after it exists, like a change of plans, perhaps is even more frustrating and challenging, while attempts to do so will not abide an unintended bungled and at intervals a plain outlandish approach to that end as to then only be compatibly defined as a failed attempt.  Instilled with hope though, one of those crushing uncanny incantation attempts just might work, while seriously, sincerely, and, at times, sentimentally engaged in desperately trying to do so in that opposite entrenched goal to undo it all--like, 'MAGIC'.  But is a plainly mortal love affair the entire reason behind longing-so to return things to being closer to normal, or to right-side up again?

The Witch Side of the Wall

AND NOW SOMEONE:  In this fictional story, includes in its contents a device which like a dog can sniff to know the personality of an embodiment along with the undisclosed and discreet aspects of that embodiment as well as seeking the pertinent embodiment out, and that device came into existence through a government sect while in use of its abundant data sets pertaining to anyone; as to be similarly inclined and as such to be in parallel with the dog's innate ability.  But today, 'the sect' has deployed the use of that produced device toward the apprehension of someone who they deem as mysteriously a worthy prospect.  The concerned individual is one-hundred and thirty-nine years old and through judicial courts he has been seeking a new identity for himself as he has the mistaken identity as that of a twenty-eight year old; yet, all of his court appearances and endeavors have failed.  'The sect' believes him to be a vampire for their own narrow or presumptuous reasons while actually he is inherently not.  The questionable individual decides to leave the country to then make a new home for himself in a far-off tropical land.  He only tells an acquaintance of his, where he is going; but 'the sect' finds and questions the acquaintance, and after awhile the acquaintance tells 'the sect' where the guy went to.  'The sect' travels there to that land and to then consistently, though haphazardly, proceed through the tropical jungle in seeking out the individual who is now sought with their tech device.  But each time 'the sect' thinks they have him cornered he does a very quick skirt off to be completely away from them as he along with they discover that he can transform into any of the native life-form creatures that are in the jungle.  In this more recent much different life of his, he is always prepared to be on the run from his pursuers while taking along with him his newfound and discovered ability to transform and temporarily evade them.  And so finally he has a place in life, and not just as a freak, as he is now someone along with all of someone's.

And Now Someone

Paradise Adrift: For those creatures that would likely never be solvent enough to afford a stay on this resort island, the word 'paradise' might be their informal description of and about it. Although it is pretty-much just a small island with the size of about seven miles in every north, east, south, and west direction, those individuals who could afford a stay on the island in the past had commanded all occurring activity throughout it and which took place on it for some many vacationing and visiting decades; and those preferences had an active role from dawn till night and from early feast to dance all night. But now the paid servitude inhabitants have predominate control and say on the island, which is a big comeback while they are also considered to be the long term natives of the island. Just how this progressed scenario came about is confusing in and of itself. No one on the island seems to be certain, but talk on the island has it that it's a matter of global warming along with the awareness that record recorded temperatures have occurred; while other talk on the island has it that the ancient but ancestral-described other side of the environment has taken hold, shape and reappeared again. What is evident though, in terms of appearance, is that a huge iceberg out of nowhere has shown up; but more confusing and striking is that the island that all of the inhabitants are on clearly seems to drifting away from the iceberg, instead of the iceberg drifting away from the island; as the momentum motion of that drift can be felt as well. The island seems to have broken off and away from the semi-base which it had belonged to as that which had kept it generally stationed in one general area. Many of the visiting vacationing inhabitants on the island, can't seem to get around having to consider that sea levels have risen so incredibly high while they find keeping themselves from entertaining such a thought as quite a challenge. The reason for that stress is because, neither radios nor telephones are working and when they do appear to be working somewhat, all evidence is at best garbled but to then only stop altogether. While the native inhabitants stress that they are all going to meet some native ancient deity that is on the side of the environment that they are now all presently on. As obviously the waves are very peaked and choppy, so there may actually be something that the waves are being banked, bumped and conflicted against like a mountainous peak; or maybe that indicates that the island is far away from such a dock. For the vacationers, in this experience though, if not perhaps just circumstance superimposed, the seemingly eerie and lonely silence is felt to be the most discomforting, while noticing also that the island has drifted farther away from the iceberg within making its trek to maybe nowhere.

Paradise Adrift

COVE FOR LOVE is about a romance that has already begun, but at this special and quaint spot that, engaging romance, has scaled up to a for-certain bound future of companionship; though, it's a vague guess as far as all that will transpire in that romantic future which is destined to be joined with all that is to be encountered, made, stepped through and trampled upon along the way while on path with it.  Yet, here it is many years later now, and that held romance returns to that special spot with reminiscence in a quiet reflective sort of touching way, all that romance hath gained plus lost, along the way, throughout those many years.  While also haunting though, as one of them or perhaps even both of them have returned to the wonderful spot completely alone; or have they really?  Story-wise, man and woman took center-stage toward the outcome of this piece.
