This compelling three-movement original work for choir and orchestra draws on ancient themes and Latin text to offer a soaring expression of praise to God. The suite opens with a jubilant Gloria in excelsis Deo, moves into the deeply expressive Et in terra pax, and culminates in the epic Gloria Dei Patri (Glory to the Father). In addition to its original accompaniment for full orchestra, it may also be presented with brass and percussion or organ alone. Pronunciation guides, rehearsal tracks, and accompaniment recordings are also available to support preparation. At just under 12 minutes, this impactful work makes a powerful addition to Christmas worship as a final statement following carols or a stirring conclusion to a traditional cantata. It is ideal for community choirs, university ensembles, and church choirs alike.
