Go In Peace is a flowing, meditative piece that mimics the sound of gentle rolling waves. It was inspirited by the blessing given at the end of a Christian Service - "Go in Peace, Serve the Lord". A repeating three-note pattern mimics the sound of the words "Go in Peace", created using the notes A-E-E. The arrangement features the cellos, which creates the sounds of the rolling waves, and the first violins, which soars gently above. The middle voices maintain the "go in peace" three-note motif, and the string basses provide a deep, solid grounding for it all.
