Gordon Goodwin and stalwarts from the Big Phat Band have done it again! This Volume 2 teaches the art of ensemble playing using actual charts from Gordon's recent CDs. By using these books, volumes of information can be learned about style, phrasing, tone, dynamics, technique, articulation, playing in time, and improvisation. Stylistically, the nine charts include swing tempos from medium to very fast, and funk and Latin grooves.
