Here's a contemporary samba set in a samba batucada (or samba/march hybrid) style. Originally orchestrated for an 11-piece small band, this is a full 18-piece big band setting. It can optionally feature flute, solo voice, tenor saxophone 3, trumpet 2, or trombone 1. The trumpet 1 part goes to written D6, and there's an optional 5th trumpet part.
