Habanera is a binary Cuban dance which became famous in Europe by the end of the 19th century. This genre was created by Ignacio Cervantes. Many composers such as Isaac Albeniz, Manuel de Falla, Emmanuel Chabrier, Camille Saint-Saens, Claude Debussy and Maurice Ravel were inspired by metrics. This habanera was in fact Sebastian Iradier's in El arreglito. He was a Spanish composer and singing teacher of Eugenie de Montijo.
