Hail the Day That Sees Him Rise

For mixed choir, organ and brass quartet and set to this familiar Easter day text by prolific hymn writer Charles Wesley (1707-1788) this new melody and setting are a strong pairing, lending to a triumphant, celebratory Easter service anthem. Quartet note: Though the original intention was to have two trombones accompanying the work, recent performances suggest that a trombone and tuba pairing work equally as well.
