Hallelujah Chorus From the Messiah

Get ready for a thrilling Winter Concert with your combined Beginning, Intermediate (middle school) and Advanced (high school) string students performing the Hallelujah Chorus from Handel's Messiah. This transcription is scored for three levels of string orchestra students: beginning musicians who play the open strings and the D, A, and E major tetrachords in unison; Intermediate musicians with two or more years of training for whom this is scored primarily in first position covering the solo and chorus parts; and musicians who are essentially performing the original string parts which go into 3rd position for the 1st violin and up to a high E on the bass.
