Handbell and Handchimes Notation and Difficulty Level System

This handbell reference booklet, recommended for directors and composers, is divided into two sections: Part A is the Handbell and Handchime Notation section. Part B is an explanation of Assigning Difficulty Levels to Handbell and Handchimes Music. Part A includes all the symbols for handbell techniques in common use. Solo and ensemble notation is also included. The guidelines presented in this booklet are a product of national conferences whose participants included composers, arrangers, editors, engravers, publishers, and performers of handbell music.
