The title is a reference to the old English rhyme about weddings, just months before the composer's own. In doing so, he honors his compositional past while introducing fresh ideas. This piece is a tour de force for the advanced rudimental drummer, gradually introducing challenging rhythmic shifts, technical demands, and blazing-fast accent patterns.
