I first saw the Chinese Proverb, which are "Harmony's" words,
at the end of a colleague's email. The
words were very meaningful to me and I couldn't stop thinking about them. I wanted to put them to music. So, I embarked on the project of writing
this song. It opens with a short
motive, played on the piano, which reappears throughout the piece. In places, some of the parts are divided
and the music travels through some key changes. I would be wonderful if
people all over the world learned and followed these words, but I'm afraid
that would take a miracle.
