Haunted Holidays

About Haunted Holidays How would you think the holidays would change if they were taken over by evil? How would our holiday music change in order to reect these evil forces? In Haunted Holidays, the piece explores how these well known carols and tunes would be refected in our world if the forces of Halloween bled over past October, through November, and into December where it can thrive. From Cluster Chords, minor and diminished chords, to jazz moments, Haunted Holidays reminds all of us how the feelings around a holiday can change how we as a society celebrate any holday we love. At rehearsal letter N, feel free to take this solo section as many times and have as many students take a chance at doing a solo, regardless if they are playing any background material, or if their instrument is a jazz instrument or not. This can be a great opportunity for many students who typically don't get the opportunity to try their hands at improvisation, while also showcasing some of your stronger jazz students.
