This piece was written one night in August 2024 after a long day of band camp. For some reason, I was feeling a bit of creative inspiration. I wanted to write something easy and light for the upcoming school year and my younger bands. At the time of writing, my wife and I are getting a new corgi puppy soon named Morris. Once I had the title, "Here Comes Morris", it wrote itself. I put it in E-flat because I think it's a nicer range for beginners (especially horns). Courtesy accidentals are included for the first few measures in all parts. All 24 measure numbers are included. Parts are easy to read (big font). A full score with just about every instrumentation you could have is included: Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Alto, Tenor, Horn, Trumpet 1 and 2, Trombone, Baritone BC, Baritone TC, Tuba, Timpani, Mallets, Snare Drum, Bass Drum, Guitar (standard notation), Guitar TAB, Electric Bass, Piano. You don't need to have full instrumentation and most parts are doubled. Additionally, a condensed score is included. Hope you and your students like this one! -BK
