Transcribed from the composer's father's singing of this tune, this version is always flowing, with joyous conviction and thanksgiving. The designation "divisi" is not to be taken lightly, for in one place the treble voices divide into five parts and sing alone, in another the tenor-basses similarly divide into four parts with the overall result being joyous and emphatic.
