Composed by Lindsey Buckingham for the film "National Lampoon's Vacation" and heard throughout the holiday season on ads and performances, this has become one of the more familiar songs of the season. Arranged for marching band as a Holiday Parade March, this chart stays interesting and exciting from start to finish. A spectacular introduction with a backdrop of Christmas sound effects leads to an up-tempo, swing treatment of the verse and chorus, punctuated along the way with hot brass shout outs. A short, yet energetic drum break continues the action and sets up a modulated replay of the chorus that pushes to the final downbeat.
