Holy God, We Praise Thy Name

Here is a fanfare prelude style setting of this 1774 hymn by Ignaz Franz.  The tune GROSSER GOTT creates an atmosphere of regal royalty, echoing a line from the song that states "All on earth Thy scepter claim."
