Described as "Bayou soul," Louisiana blues crooner Marc Broussard's hit song is an ode to the music of the South. It's a unique mix of funk, blues, RB, and southern rootsy rock, and it even incorporates a bit of the traditional spiritual Wade in the Water. It can be a great contrast to a more high-energy pop opener. It features a soloist in the first verse and chorus and a higher solo singing lead over the final chorus. It's also a really sweet guitar feature.
