Honors II S

Honors II S is a scaffolded solo snare piece. It has three parts written to help each student learn at their level, and learn their way to the final version.a Part three has the basic playing rhythms, part two adds proper stickings to prepare for rudiments and part one is the final version with nine rudiments taught in the piece. (five-stroke roll, nine stroke roll, drag, flam, flam tap, flamacue, single stroke four, parradiddle and Lesson 25.a It also includes a study guild breaking down the solo rudiments and a written quiz you can make copies to follow up.aa If all students can't play the final version they can play it together at their level to do it as a unison.a It is a great learning tool for students at different levels of learning.
