Commissioned by the Indiana Bandmasters Association, this slightly tongue-in-cheek celebration introduces folk-like (but original) material from the heartland of this country. Filled with interesting rhythmic contrasts, the forthright sprightly section balances nicely with lyrical legato sections. Quality writing throughout.
