One of Lawn's more recent compositions, this one is also available for full big band. This chart is a tour de force for baritone sax soloist and was written for the emerging talent Mark Allen. While the solo part challenging, the brass parts are reasonable as are the rhythm section parts except for piano that has some difficult octave unison written solo lines. The Trumpet 1 range goes to one written high E-flat. Instrumentation: ATB Saxes, 2 Trumpets, 1 Trombone, Piano, Bass, Drums, Optional Guitar, and Optional Vibes.
