How Far Is It to Bethlehem?

This traditional English folk song offers a charming, childlike depiction of the Nativity (also appropriate for Epiphany). While the piece can be sung as written with vocal harmonies on verses two and three, it may also be presented as a unison anthem with instrumental doubling options in place of the vocal harmonies. The lilting triple meter of the keyboard accompaniment works equally well for both piano and organ.
