Humility

This second movement from the extended work "These Ancient Words" delivers a sermon in song for practical, faith-based living.  Written for SATB choir, this anthem uses elegant chord structures and sweeping melodies to frame a paraphrased setting of Micah 6:8, "What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God."  Accompanied by piano or chamber orchestration.
