I Heard the Voice of Jesus Say

The singing bell technique opens this haunting and evocative arrangement of the hymn tune KINGSFOLD. In the first half of the piece, a quiet yet persistent eighth-note pattern adds a wonderful counterpoint to the familiar melody. Then the roles are reversed and the counterpoint appears in the upper treble bells with the melody being carried in the bass staff. Finally, both ideas are blended with a simple yet exquisite outcome. Optional 3 octaves of handchimes.
