This arrangement of Weeden's beautiful melody is easy on the flute players' fingers, but more of challenge for the pianist, who drives the arrangement with its own countermelody through various stages of surrender, until peace is finally reached at the end. Long flute notes encourage good tone and listening skills for flute players of all ability levels.
