I Wish I Could Give You Something is a quote specifically from The Giving Tree which in totality reads "I wish I could give you something... but I have nothing left". I love this quote because of how perfectly it sums up the story of a parental figure who gives their child everything they possible can, asking nothing in return. I tried my best to portray the tone a emotions that I felt when I read this is a child and end in a reflective manner representing the child in old age finally coming to terms with his life and being contempt to just spend time sitting on the tree stump.
