Paired with Carl Schalk's HEARTWOOD (a lovely pastoral tune in 12/8), this text of Herbert Brokering is thoughtful and thought-provoking. In the midst of storms and tribulation, when all seems lost, we are exhorted to "hurry, hurry" to the Babe in the manger, to drink of the cup, to go to the tree, to the hill.
