The text and song is by Raiberto Comini. He was a well known Dallas Photographer who in 1969 took beautiful pictures at our wedding. His wife founded the Italian Department at SMU and their daughter taught Art History at SMU for 31 years. It was Alessandra Comini, the daughter, who I was able to find and gave me permission in 2017 to arrange this lovely Christmas song. It was sung by the Chamber Singers of North Mesquite High School, Ryan Forkner, director on the their Christmas Concert. It is this recording in 2023 that you are hearing.
