This original composition opens with a plainchant played on optional handchimes (2 octaves) accompanied by random ringing, then is followed by a richly harmonized statement of the main theme. A more active section follows with fluid LV sixteenth-note patterns accompanying a variation of the theme. A return to the opening plainchant with random ringing concludes this prayerful composition. Referencing Psalm 119:105-108, the words "light our way" are illustrated in the form of two eighth notes and a quarter note, and the complete text is included above the music to provide creative reference for ringers. Editions are compatible.
