In a Brass of their Own

This suite is one that offers third year and your better second year players a variety of experiences in performance. A fanfare style opening settles into a bright, energetic march highlighted by duets by the trumpets and a French horn/trombone combination. From here the music transitions into an adagio section featuring a euphonium solo and another trumpet duet. The suite closes with a brief but full sounding return to the opening style and tempo. The changes in style and tempo as well as the varied instrument combinations are sure the keep your players interest throughout the entire suite.
