In Search of Yeti

This colorful piece represents the adventurous search for the legendary creature known by many names: Sasquatch, Bigfoot, the Abominable Snowman, Voormi, Yeti. A dark and mysterious mood surrounds the piece, much like the stories of this ape-like figure that has persisted from the arctic tundra to the Himalayas and the Rockies. This flexible version comes with supplemental parts and permission is granted to photocopy as needed. A percussion accompaniment track is also available as a free download. String parts have been edited with extra fingerings and bowings to support students in mixed ensembles playing in less familiar keys.
