In the Ending of the Year

John Neale's translation of the 12th-century German carol In hoc anni circulo is a simple treatment of the Christmas story. This spare yet elegant setting can be performed as written, harmonized throughout, or with different sections of the choir leading the melody in each half verse. The parts for guitar, solo instrument in C, and clarinet are included.
