In the Stillness of the Night

Inspired by the Gospel account of Mary Magdalene's vigil outside Christ's tomb, the refrain captures the voice of Mary as she waited outside the tomb, while the verses speak in the voice of the Risen Christ. Scored for choir with descant, piano, guitar, flute, oboe, and cello. While appropriate for use throughout the Easter season, this will be especially poignant on Good Friday and Holy Saturday.
