In Thee Is Gladness

The Renaissance melody IN DIR IST FREUDE still speaks to us after four centuries. Attributed to Giovanni Gastoldi, its continuous joy is displayed here for unison voices, accompanied by two flutes, hand drum and organ (piano).  It is a resplendant offering for adults or children during celebrative Sundays throughout the year. With optional German text included, it also works beautifully for concert or festival performances.
